Ranking the Best Plays Since 2010: No. 6

by Chris Paschal

In honor of it being so close to kickoff, Front Porch Football is counting down the Top 10 Greatest Moments/Plays in SEC Football since 2010. These plays are selected not only because of their significance, but also because of how insane, bizarre, and epic the moment was. With that being said, we are 6 Days from Kickoff so here is the 6th best play since 2010.

November 19, 2016. Florida at LSU.

One of the most heated rivalries in the SEC got even hotter back in 2016 when the LSU Tigers refused to travel back to Gainesville in November after a HURRICANE postponed the game earlier in the season. So what did the Gators do? They traveled to Baton Rouge late in the season (even though the game was supposed be in Gainesville) and beat LSU in Tiger Stadium. This play is not only epic because it involves a Goal Line Stand between two evenly matched, uberly athletic teams, but it’s also because Florida clinched the SEC East and a trip to Atlanta with the win. This play had everything: hatred, drama, and consequences.

Here is Voice of the Gators, Mick Hubert’s Call:

#7 Best Play Since 2010: Jeffrey’s One-Handed Catch To Defeat Alabama

#8 Best Play: TJ Yeldon’s 2012 Game Winning TD at LSU

#9 Best Play: The Razorback’s 4th and 25 Conversion.

#10 Best Play: Jadeveon Clowney’s Hit vs. Michigan
