Ranking the Best Play Since 2010: No. 8

In honor of it being so close to kickoff, Front Porch Football is counting down the Top 10 Greatest Moments/Plays in SEC Football since 2010. These plays are selected not only because of their significance, but also because of how insane, bizarre, and epic the moment was. With that being said, we are 8 Days from Kickoff so here is the 8th best play since 2010.

November 3, 2012. Alabama at LSU: Call Made By The Voice of the Crimson Tide, Eli Gold.

You have to remember that six years ago, Alabama had lost two of its last three to LSU. The LSU game has always been a physical, evenly matched game since 2007, but many forget that LSU actually won some of those earlier contests. This game decided who won the SEC West in 2012, and it really begs the question, if LSU had won this game, how would things look in the SEC today? I argue that if Alabama loses this game, this would have been the conclusion to a nice run for the Crimson Tide, instead of the catapult to a dynasty that it ended up being.

#8 Best Play: TJ Yeldon’s 2012 Game Winning TD at LSU

#9 Best Play: The Razorback’s 4th and 25 Conversion.

#10 Best Play: Jadeveon Clowney’s Hit vs. Michigan
