Biggest Winners/Losers of Senior Bowl Week

Winners

Nasir Adderley – 53 Spots Up

Before: #78 Overall Prospect   |   After: #25 Overall Prospect

Adderley, a safety out of Delaware, came into the Senior Bowl a bit under the radar due to the fact that he played for an FCS program. After what was reported as a great week of practice, he topped off the week by picking off Buffalo QB Tyree Jackson. Adderley is now seeming like he could be one of the best options in a rather weak secondary class that seriously lacks depth. He was one of our players to watch going into the Senior Bowl and is now one of our top players to follow going into the draft.

Deebo Samuel – 41 Spots Up

Before: #61 Overall Prospect   |   After: #20 Overall Prospect

Deebo has fought through injuries in his time at South Carolina but has always been an X Factor WR. He has one of the sturdiest frames of this class, yet it takes away no speed. I had viewed him as a late day 2, early day 3 guy going into this week, but he has separated himself from a lot of the guys in this talented class after an amazing week. Andy Isabella is in the same boat, but only jumped 14 spots to #24 prospect overall.

Ryan Finley – 23 Spots Up

Before: #59 Overall Prospect   |   After: #36 Overall Prospect

Finley had an outstanding game after an above average week. He has passed Will Grier for the time being and is in the #4 spot for this QB class. An early favorite in September, Finley has bounced back after having a less than spectacular season. His arm and mobility is still a huge question mark, but I think his mental processing has pushed him past several other QBs at the Senior Bowl. As of right now Finley is a second-round grade.

Losers

Jonah Williams – 33 Spots Down

Before: #18 Overall Prospect   |   After: #51 Overall Prospect

Jonah Williams was not at the Senior Bowl, but the Alabama offensive lineman was still a common topic of conversation. Many scouts have been discussing his strength and wingspan which will most likely turn Williams into a Guard in NFL Standards, which will most likely push him into the second or third round.

Will Grier – 30 Spots Down

Before: #22 Overall Prospect   |   After: #52 Overall Prospect

At one point Grier seemed much more interested in his hair than his draft stock. Grier struggled a bit all week and maybe all the hype is coming to an end. There is still so much time to make up for it, but he has now fallen behind Ryan Finley. Grier even had help from several of his teammates but struggled to put much together. His accuracy and arm strength seemed to be at the bottom of the class among the other 7 quarterbacks. Grier’s football IQ will be his greatest strength and there is still a great chance he will be taken in the first round.
