2018 Porch Picks: Week 8 McDougalds

Week 8 is full of potential “trap games” for teams that have a lot on the line. This week determines what kind of caliber team a lot of Playoff hopefuls are. Is LSU mature enough to move past the epic beatdown on Georgia and come out with a win against Mississippi State? Does Vanderbilt finally get their upset against a ranked opponent?
This week’s guest pickers are brothers Doug and Jess McDougald. Both were born, raised, and reside in Anderson, SC where they run the finest funeral home this side of the Mississippi. They are proud alumni of T.L. Hanna High School, and although they live a stone throws away from Clemson they are diehard South Carolina fans. Doug is married to Tricia McDougald and the father of Max, Ben, and Meg. Jess, is the husband of Greer, and father of Sarah Grace and Wells.

The McDougald family has supported Front Porch Football since the start, and are good friends with the Paschal boys. We are lucky to have such great friends in y’all! Plus, it’s nice to have some brotherly competition that won’t result in Chris mocking Brendan’s bald spot!
