Front Porch Football2018 Porch Picks: Week 3
It’s time for some SEC football… kinda. Unfortunately, with all the complications due to Hurricane Florence, many games in the Carolinas have been cancelled or postponed. In fact, Front Porch Football will not pick its traditional 20 games due to game cancellations. Of course our thoughts and prayers go out to all of y’all that will be impacted by this storm. Front Porch Football will be hunkering down with you.
This week’ guest pickers’ are two Carolines from Athen, Georgia. First up is Caroline Colby who writes “I’m from Athens, Georgia and went to school at Auburn University. I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia. I grew up a huge Georgia Bulldog fan and still am when they aren’t playing Auburn. After my first season of watching Auburn football I was all in. It was the year Auburn caught the Hail Mary Pass against Georgia and then 2 weeks later had the Miracle Kick 6 vs. Alabama in the Iron bowl- still gives me chills!”
Next is Caroline Block who assigned fellow Athens local, Perry Rupert, as her biography writer. Perry writes, “Another Athens native, Caroline Block also grew up a Bulldawg fan, but was a quick Rebel convert at the start of her freshman year. Caroline graduated from Ole Miss this past spring and currently lives in New York, New York. Caroline’s favorite football tradition is tailgating in the Grove every gameday – so much fun and nothing like it.”
