FPF has something new and exciting to introduce! Instead of our traditional 1 guest picker we are now doing a head to head matchup each week. The winner of each matchup will be placed into our “Bowl Mania” tournament for a chance to win a prize courtesy of Front Porch Football!
This week our first ever matchup is the battle of the Gamecocks.

Will is a born and bred South Carolinian, he attended Carolina graduating last year. He is a die hard Gamecock, and is looking forward to this season. It has been tough at times living in the Palmetto State surrounded by Clemson fans, but Will is confident the Gamecocks will be an SEC contenders sooner rather than later. Cocks By 90.
Patrick on the South Carolina vs Georgia game – “This game means a lot because I was born in Augusta, GA. My dad is a UGA graduate and a diehard Dawg fan. This is always an extremely awkward game to watch with him because we always root for both teams outside of the game “Between the Hedges”. Although I have no real connection to the Gamecocks I adopted them as my team when I moved to Columbia when I was 7 years old – back before they were relevant at all. I’ve always enjoyed going to games at Willy B, and am excited of the possibility of being a Gamecock for grad school next fall. Outside of Masters week these next few months of Saturday afternoons are as good as it gets in the sports world.”
