Every Friday we will feature a new face of the South. If you would like to be featured on Faces of the South please contact us at frontporchfootball@gmail.com .
Hometown: Charlotte, NC
College Team(s): Wofford mainly, grew up a UVA fan, now sort of a Dawg fan (bandwagon)
Occupation: Accountant, Transaction Services, Grant Thornton
A: Freshman year, we used to have to go sit front row at all the football games as pledges. It was a great time, was more a fan of the scene than the actual football unfortunately. But now Wofford basketball is the new hot man on the streets. Shout of Justin Gordon and Fletch.
A:Has to be Roo Daniels, he is a legend. But freshman year we had Eric Breitenstein, he was a mule. We powered the triple option down South Carolina’s throat freshman year with Eric. It was tied 7-7 going into the fourth quarter, so a win in my book.
A: Chick-Fil-A nuggets or pigs in a blanket. Or the ritual.
A: South Carolina and Virginia Tech. Wofford is full of these garbage bandwagon USC fans, shout out Will Bivens and Fitz Ellerbe.
A: Sports wise it has to be Nashville for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which were also the week before the CMT fest. It was the most insane fan experience ever. Drunk rednecks + the passion of a EPL soccer game + hard hitting hockey = a Pred’s game. Non sports I would say the Namib Desert, in Nambia. Google search it. Or Yosemite National Park.
A: Licking the skittles and then drawing a little stamp mark on your hand to sneak into the Veranda lot. Or every fan in Anfield singing You’ll Never Walk Alone at the end of Liverpool games. Or screaming Keep pounding during Panthers game. But this is a SEC blog, so I’ll also give you calling the Dawgs. Hair standing up on your arm type experiences.
A: Wofford I would have to say maybe Seth Knight, he was insistent that we attend every game and cheer and bark loudly. For UVA it was my dad and grandparents. My dad played football there and my grandparents are big fans, so we went to a lot of games growing up. My girlfriend and best friend, who both went to UGA, have made me Dawg fans. It’s hard not to like the Dawgs when you spend a few game days in Athens.
A: Hard question, probably go undefeated and lose to our rival. I mean the Panthers run in 15/16 was so much fun even though we lost to the Falcons.
A: Wake up around 9:30, throw the robe on, make a BIG pot of coffee and some eggs. Watch EPL (Liverpool) on one screen, and College gameday on the other. Around 1:30 move the TV out to the back porch, walk to publix, get some booze and brats, hang in the backyard and have people over to watch some football. Go out after to the park or beltline and hang outside or shoot the hooch, get a big dinner outside and some drinks with friends. Come back and make fun of my roommate for the late night west coast games he is betting on to break even for the day.

A: Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz, because nothing is better than a little coffee buzz. I love it. Shout out Tyler Cooney, sup?
A: I like the gold and black, but our little terrier logo is pretty soft, need a more aggressive looking dog. Aggressive like when we beat UNC, to win the National Championship in basketball. Shout out, David Belk.
A: Great question, Bradley Cooper is the man, so is Jimmy Chin, but I would say Yvon Chouinard, google him, I feel like he would have some great stories.
A: I have no memory of who the Wiggles are, so I would say Otto from Rocket Power. Also, while I have your attention, reader, stop buying plastic water bottles, buy a Nalgene, saves you money and the environment.
