Sir Big Spur – The Live Mascot

Sir Big Spur, the live mascot for the South Carolina Gamecocks, has been around for the good times and the bad times for the Gamecocks. How many other mascots have their own private transportation to the game and while they are at the venue. Sir Big Spur rides around on the field goal post of what looks to be his 2001 Jeep or maybe he is in his custom built “tank” ready for the battle he is going to fight with fans and the team inside of Willy B.

This is not just a mascot, this is a fighting symbol for the University of South Carolina. Sir Big Spur is a staple of South Carolina gameday, a staple of the Gamecock Football team, and a staple for all the fans that live vicariously through him and his fighting spirit.
