Ranking the Best Play Since 2010: No. 9

by Chris Paschal

In honor of it being so close to kickoff, Front Porch Football is counting down the Top 10 Greatest Moments/Plays in SEC Football since 2010. These plays are selected not only because of their significance, but also because of how insane, bizarre, and epic the moment was. With that being said, we are 9 Days from Kickoff so here is the 9th best play since 2010.

November 7, 2015. Arkansas at Ole Miss.

This play is worthy of being on this countdown for a multitude of reasons. If this isn’t SEC Drama, then our name ain’t Front Porch Football. The play, first of all. Name a more unlikely chain of events? But it’s the implications that are even more insane. Arkansas was 4-4 heading into Oxford, Mississippi that day after starting the season off with losses to Toledo and Texas Tech. Even more nutty is the fact that if Ole Miss had won that game, they would have gone on to represent the SEC West in Atlanta for the SEC Title Game, and who knows, maybe even possibly make the College Football Playoff. This was the Rebels’ last chance at winning a SEC Title under Hugh Freeze, but thanks to a few lucky bounces, some heads-up blocking, and an unrelenting effort by Arkansas, those chances were dashed in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium that cold November night.

#9 Best Play Since 2010: The Razorback’s 4th and 25 Conversion.

#10 Best Play Since 2010: Jadeveon Clowney’s Hit vs. Michigan
