2018 Porch Picks: Championship Weekend

With the regular season coming to an end we now enter Championship Weekend. Several championship games could decide who will be playing on New Years. For the second straight year Alabama faces Georgia with both in the top four. However, it seems like the playoff only has room for one SEC team this year. Both Oklahoma and Ohio State will have to win big to make their case for the potential open spot…because we all know Notre Dame is making it, and Clemson is going to break their cleat off in Pitt’s ass.
Of course legendary games deserve legendary guest pickers. The boys at FPF are honored to have John Lamm and Andrew Koontz join us this weekend. Both are great friends of the Paschal brothers, and when we’re not texting about college football (or Koontz’s weird obsession with Brazilian jiu jitsu) we’re all watching it…football, not jiu jitsu.
John Covington Lamm is a Wofford College graduate, and a diehard fan of the T-Pups and North Carolina Tar Heels. He’s excited to watch Mack Brown, with the help of Kelly Bryant, lead the Heels to stardom and an ACC Championship.
Lonnis “Andrew” Koontz is also a graduate of Wofford College. He enjoys being a perpetual thorn in the side of FPF’s fan base. When he’s not spreading hot takes the temperature of the sun on the FPF facebook page, he can usually be found playing tennis. Koontz currently resides in Washington, D.C.
