Week 12 is the calm before the storm – aka rivalry weekend. This week is full of cupcake games where teams should handily beat their inferior opponents and backups should get plenty of reps. Although these games are less than epic our guest pickers are not. Daryl Nathanson and Kelly Mattei are both great friends to the Paschal family.
Daryl (right) is best described as a guy working on his beard in Asheville. He is married to the legendary Jen Nathanson, who has never met a stranger, and the father of Mack and Jake. With the sad state of FSU football, Daryl is now sorta a UGA fan since his buddy’s wife went there. He is also a fan of anyone playing against UF and UM. “Beer’s in the cooler.”
Mrs. Mattei (right) is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama. She is the wife of Cary and mother of Milly. When she is not in the stands cheering on her daughter in whatever sport she is playing Mrs. Mattei can be found volunteering in Charlotte Latin, writing for her blog, Kelly Mattei’s Favorite Things, or making great videos for Been There Moms.
